Sent Items and Sent Folders always empty? HTC Touch

Hi fellahs,

I have Touch check-marked under:

Messaging

Keep copies of sent items in Sent folder

but none of my Sent emails are being kept, either in the Sent or in Sent Items Folder (what's the diff anyways?).

What's the silly thing I'm forgetting to checkmark?

No ideas fellahs? This is driving me nuts, I really needed to see what I sent earlier but there's nothing there.

same here, i just use Gmail and Yahoo Go to send my mails so it keeps a copy of it on the server.

Thank you rogersnewbie, maybe I'm not as crazy as everyone thinks!

I see the built-in Windows Live (yourname@live.ca) keeps Sent copies on The Touch too... dang, I really wanted to use my ISP addys....

I think our Sent Items aren't displaying with our imap accounts:

imap.mail.yahoo.com
IMAP4
stmp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com

because we aren't running Outlook and, therefore, can not Sync. Is that a possibility?

Just to follow up, yes, I have:

Messaging

Get full copy of messages
Keep copies of sent items in Sent folder

selected and they never "keep" except for one time I saw an email for a split second then, *poof*, it was gone.

Wirelessly posted (AT&T 8525: HTC-8500/1.2 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.6) UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

I have a similar problem on my AT&T 8525. Messages are deleted from all folders on restart, and random deleted messages reappear with no bodies.

I thought WM6 would patch the problem, but it didn't.

I've heard of other HTC owners having the same problem.

Only easy solutions are to also download your ISP mail to your PC or use web-based mail.

You're not crazy, I got the same problem. Got all available services, and the phone otherwise runs perfectly. I thought I read somewhere there was a reg hack to fix it, but it might be my hyperactive imagination....
