Update For Charleston, SC

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I was at the local Corporately owned AT&T Store yesterday, I asked about 3G they told me they are working on it in the Charleston market and expect to go live this March, I noticed last week my reception on Clements Ferry Rd which was always poor seems to be much improved since last week, i wonder if that has anything to do with the upgrades they are doing in preparation for 3G or if it is just a coincidence, I do know however they network here needs some wok a lot of holes and poor coverage. I hope they are making coverage improvements while upgrading to 3G.

Might be because you're using a garabe iPhone, lol. I have used my 8525 and now my Tilt in Charleston, SC and haven't had any dropped calls or signal problems.

But 3G will be going live there this year, along with Greenville, SC, Fayetteville, NC, & Jacksonville, NC. Greenville and Charleston will be first.

Myrtle Beach has 3G from a partner of AT&T in SC. Horry County Telephone owns all the GSM sites in Horry County and maintain them. They are not owned by AT&T, they just use AT&T's BSCs.

Maybe 2009, along with Asheville and Greenville, NC. Most likely 2010.
