hi, i'm on 1.1.2 w/Rogers
and Curruntly have a gay *** 5mb data plan with them and i'm being extra careful not to go over with that 5mb limit.

I only enable the edge whenever I need to check my mail on the go when i don't have the wifi around me.

I use Services application to control my Edge,Wifi etc. bcs Netservices 1.6.1 has some sound related issues with 1.1.2 (extremely low volume upon enabling edge)

Whenever I switch on/off the edge it resets my data counter and it's quite confusing as I need to track how much data i'm using.

I can't afford to leave the edge on, it's just too risky.

is there any way around it to keep the data counter alive through the on/off Edge cycle?
