I thought I was pretty savvy about this stuff but try as I might (and not getting off my arse to find the old manual) I cannot seem to erase all the incoming and outgoing numbers that are stored on my Kyocera KX414. I want to donate this phone since I got a new one today but won't until I get all my numbers out. I removed the battery twice, still no luck. I know there is some simple way to do this, but haven't found it yet. Grrrrr...

Very nice thank you. Now I have an ancient thread here seeking howto erase email addresses in the Phantom. I found absolutely no way to erase. All you can do is over-write, and you must have active service to do that. Send another message until the list is clean/benign.
"Messages, Send New, Recent" gets you to the list.
This little issue kept me from disposing of my Phantom.
Back to the phone book: You have to have security code. Book says 0000 or phone number. If 0000 didn't work, "Settings, Network, Set" phone line gets you to its number.
