LG Shine Bluetooth Connect

My bf just got the LG Shine and he's tryin to get it to connect to his laptop via bluetooth but with no success. The lady in the AT&T store told us the code was 000000 but it doesnt work.
Any suggestions?

It should just be 4 zeros; "0000"
