Reprogram OK button?

Pardon if this has been answered before. A search turned up nothing.
Is it possible to reprogram the OK button on the SGH-A717 or SGH-A747?
Am I correct that if I accidentally hit the OK button I will be sent to the web browser and be charged a data fee? If this is true, it almost sounds like AT&T is hoping to make money off of mistakes.
If it can't be reprogrammed, how hard is it to disable the web access?
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the button can't be reprogrammed, but you can just call 611 and have them remove the PPU(PayPerUse) data. Only downside to that is you wont be able to send MMS(pic/video) messages as they require the data network, if this matters to you.
