Defective Screen?

My tilt's screen is now useless.
When off it looks normal. When on it is all white, with radial lines. I bought the device about a month ago, but have already sent in the UPC etc for the rebate.
Is there a warranty? What are my best options to get it replaced?
I was carrying a box before this happened, it is possible it nudged up against the screen, but nothing so hard that should have broken it.
Any advice is appreciated.
