What's the cost of using the Iphone on ATT without Iphone Plan?

I am getting a business phone through my company with ATT. The one that they give us is rather crappy. (The freebie that you tend to get when you open an account) I am tempted to buy an Iphone and JB it and pop in the SIM from my business account.

I am just wondering about the possible cost increase in regards to additional usage the Iphone might create in doing this action. Our company is pretty laxed when it comes to personal use of the phone line according to my boss. Which is why I am ditching my Verizon line at a savings of $100 a month.

Has anyone done with with a non-Iphone ATT account and how much did your bill go up.. I tend to surf web for a few moments out of the day and check email sporadicly through out the day.
