A guide on iphone.unlock.no for unlocking and downgrading to 1.1.1 from 1.1.2 told me that normally I should downgrade to 1.1.1, so I did. I get the 1015 error as told. The guide told me to open apptap installer after this, so I did, but the installer only has install options for firmwares 1.0.0 1.0.1 and 1.0.2. Was I supposed to downgrade to 1.0.2 or something?

im no pro but i was working with that guide most of today and was successful... you just want to use that to break the lock on your iphone so that then you can go through the processs to jailbreak it.... Int hat guide im pretty sure it also says set it to 1.0.2... it will fail, but your iphone will go to the emergency screen rather then the black screen with the picture of the iphone and the plug... from there youc an jailbreak following a guide...
