The RAZR is still getting new colors and selling well... how long have those things been out. I would hardly call the W580i dated (November release?); close, but not quite yet.

By the time cingy/ ATT picks up the Z750 and K850. Maybe 10. From what I heard they have been working on the replacement for the K850.

The Wall St. Journal had an article yesterday about Moto's inability to come up with a good follow-on product to the razr.


Fair enough on W580. But why only one SE phone at a time? And the z750 is a flip phone to boot.

Rehatching has to do with eggs but eggs can only be hatched once.

SE K850i is being moved from mid march to late march.
SE 750 all colors are at the warehouse awaiting go ahead which should be 2/7.

The cu915 and the cu920 as I understand differ from the mediaflo standpoint? Will they be launched simultaneously? Both offerings available from all channels?

mediaflo is in select markets. those markets with mediaflo and national retailers should have both models. markets without mediaflo...i dont know if they will carry the cu920. they will be launched at the same time. we should know more by next week.

Awesome...keep us appraised! I'm very very interested in this phone to see just how viable of an iphone "competitor" it can be. If the touch screen is as "sensitive" as the voyager, I may find myself back in the iphones hand.

I'm not in the know by any means, but based on what I've been reading in the SE forums, it seems to me that it's probably SE that's causing the delay in the release of this phone. I think it's really buggy and AT&T wouldn't want to deal with customers complaining about a defunct phone due to SE's problems. I hope that it does come out bug-free eventually though since the price should be subsidized a good amount.

They just launched the 580 in Metro Pink. Ha.

You must've gotten the same backorder list we got (or not). I'll double check tomorrow.

For the CU920, it still says TBD, but I thought I saw a later date for the Shine in black, like the 26th.

Just do what I did - buy an iPhone and be done with it. I got tired of waiting and the fact that this unbranded hasn't dropped in price considering the bugs it has. By the time AT&T and SE work it out and get the K850 released, it's going to be the start of Q2. By that time, a better and cooler phone will arise.

I'm over AT&T's lack of wanting to get new cool phones out on the market. They've sat on the iPhone for so long, I think they forgot that they ought to address other issues pertaining to their sleep inspiring lineup.

They rely on the biggest network and fewest dropped calls stuff too much all the while Verizon, Sprint, and even lame T-Mobile intro cool new phones and regular phones that AT&T still have...

The CU920 should have been here to combat the LG phones from Verizon...

Trust me, this new, cool phone thing is VERY new for Verizon. As of now, they're definitely not far ahead of AT&T at all. And in my opinion, VZW's phones aren't really all that great to me anyway.

Actually you're probably right. Whenever you're with one carrier, the other carrier always looks better. It's like a never ending loop. But in all honesty, I'm strongly considering switching to AT&T because while VZW does have some interesting phones, AT&T's just seem to appeal to me more, and I'm referring not only to the currently available phones, but the upcoming one's as well. VZW's phones are just kind of boring and lack too much uniqueness for the type of person that I am. But I guarantee as soon as I switch, VZW's stuff will look like freaking gold, lol... excuse the unintentional Gleam pun...

I definately agree with you guys. There was a time when I wanted to, still do, switch to Verizon, but they had an uninspiring lineup, lately their lineup is looking pretty good. Luckily at&t being GSM we can always go outside the box if the lineup starts to go downhill as of late.

EXACTLY. The fact that I can always go for unlocked unbranded if AT&T's line gets a little weak is what is drawing me to them. With VZW, if the lineup sucks, it just sucks and there's nothing I can do about it.

that is what I have been saying this past couple weeks. However, with ATT starting to go on a "unbranded phone" lockdown concerning services with them (data and MMS so far), Im begining to wonder if all the headache is worth it. I love Verizon's service, I just hate when their phone lineup sucks, I cant do anything but wait. That and the fact they feel they have to control everything on that phone, from the OS to the bluetooth. Kinda annoying.

unbranded phones not being allowed on new data plans due to the IMEI not being an att IMEI (and yes I understand a PDA plan not being able to be used on a regular phone) and MMS being resized to a 1kb fingernail size or just not sending at all anymore. It was my understanding that the issues with the unbranded phones are just that, issues that need to be worked out of the system. It does not make any business sense for them to do it on purpose, just gotta wait for them to work all the bugs out. I mean honestly lol, why would ATT want to prevent you from paying an additional 30 dollars a month?

its not that bad, I just think that if Im paying $469 for a phone, then I should be able to decide what features, that the manufacturer put on there, I wanna use or not. Not verizon. thats why I was thinking about getting an unbranded phone and going to ATT. but like zeph said, maybe its better that i wait till the bugs get worked out, or just get ATTs version of the LG shine.

I wouldn't quite say it's repulsive, but it definitely suck. After 3 phones with the same UI, it gets kind of depressing to keep looking at the same thing for so long.

After playing around with my friend's LG V, I feel that their OS is unattractive and I could never get used to that red, plain OS after using some phones with beautiful OS's like the iPhone or w580i.

First thing that came to my mind was Nextel. It's kinda ugly, but I'm strangely attracted to it? And hey, at least it has a decent-ish camera. Wonder if this will use the Synergy OS like the v9?

LOL the venus looks nothing like the iPhone. Voyager is probably closer to an iphone than anything else VZW offers. These phones had been hyped up SOOOOOOOOO much with special sneak peeks and crap that yeah, its probably going to get noticed more than your nokia (even though your nokia can prob do more stuff)
