Hi...

I need to get a phone to be used as an emergency phone as part of a 'Contingency Excercise' in work. eg... if we have a major incident in work - I want to TEXT all employees to report for work immediately.

So - I need to send ONE message to all (preloaded) staff numbers.

I hahad to change our Nokia 6230i cos it has no group facility - only sent to many! Got a SE K800i cost I was told by the shop that it can handle groups!! Great I thought...only that a group can only have 13 entries. WE have 57 staff and so need to set up 5 groups!!!! As you can appreciate in a emergency situation - we would noty have the time to sent teh message 5 x times.

Anyone know a phone that has un-limited group numbers!!!!!!

Thanks

Sikki

Nokia's E-series phones come with Team Suite application. You can create a team, add as many numbers from your phonebook, and send one text message to all group members thru that one App

Look up all the E-series and see which one fits the bill. E51 is the most pocketable one though.

Thanks guys

I only have the E50 or E65 in stock at my dealer...... Would they do the trick?? The E50 is the cheaper...considering I only need it for an emergency phone.

Yes either one will do but the E51 is a much better phone than the E50.

Guys - I'm Back!!

Have been down to the local store and they olny have the E51 in stock. They no longer sell the E50. I got him to open th box and give me a look at the Manual and there is a section on the Nokia Team Suite. The chap behind the desk photocopied the relevant section for me to look over. Do you think this will do the trick....its doesn't actually say in the manual anything about limits etc..... I guess I will only know for definite is by buying the phone!!!!

Thanks

Sikky
