Hi!

I'm thinking of getting a Scp7050, but I'm quite confused about some things.
First of all, I've read it's got GSM. Does that mean that I can use it in Europe?

Also, I'd like to play mp3s. Of course, I've already heard that the 7050 doesn't have a player. But on the Sanyo site, I've read that it's capable of download and executing Java Applications.
Is it possible to download an available Java mp3player and use it on the phone or is that impossible.

Last question is: Since it doesn't have an headphone-jack, I'd have to use a Bluetooth Headset. I've heard a lot of bad stuff about some Bluetooth Headset, so maybe someone could recommend one for me?

I don't know where you're getting your information, but it's all wrong. There is no GSM in the SCP-7050. It's a strictly CDMA handset. It *does* have a headset jack: a standard 3/32" monaural headset jack for cellular headsets. It's also Bluetooth equipped, so should you choose to go that route remember you get what you pay for.

You are correct that the phone does not have a media player but is J2ME-equipped. I am not aware of any downloadable J2ME-based media players, nor do I think you'd have much room to store any music on the phone.
