GPS on 8100 Pearl?

Im looking at GPS options for my Pearl but havent found many. I know that Telenav offers OTA navigation service but I go alot of places where the towers are few. Garmin offers the Mobile XT software for Blackberry's but I dont know if thats AGPS navigation. Can anyone confirm or tell me of a non-OTA navigation for the Pearl?

I've been looking for data free GPS apps for blackberry myself unsuccessfully. I do not think they exist don'r know why. Very depressing. Thats why I think GPS blackberries are useless they're "crippled". What good is it if your out of coverage area? I heard somewhere RIM holds major shares in telenav so the whole data GPS on blackberries makes sense "GREED" more money more money more money more money
