I can't believe I cannot find any threads about this? I really need to change the housing on this thing from Rogers, they absolutely slaughtered it by making it bronzey-grey! Yuck.

Any help?? I found the housings for sale, but how do I do it? Don't want to break anything... *shiver*

i did it a few weeks back on my rogers touch, i got a wasabi green housing off ebay for like $20.

Its not an easy task, and if you dont know how to mod stuff i wouldnt try it. Its really easy to damage the phone, and you have to be able remove and reglue components from your phone to the new housing.

Once you do this you will not be able to use your old housing.

You will also need some special tools, soldering iron and a ultra thin roll of 2 sided tape.

Oh boy!! Sounds freaky... no, no I wouldn't be able to do that by myself for sure. Soldering and glueing?? Ack... but thanks for offering to help, that's very kind of you!

I hope that sooner or later there are going to be some cell phone repair places that will do it for a small charge.. hopefully!

That is, if I keep the phone and not switch to an iPhone..
