Odd ring style behaviour with my phone

I have my phone (ROKR z6m) set to ring style set to "vibe than ring" but when I plug it in to the USB post to charge it changes to "Loud". When I disconnect it it reverts back to "vibe than ring". Is this normal? When it was plugged in I tried changing it back to "vibe than ring" but when I disconnected it and reconnected it it still goes back to the "loud" style.

Is this a bug or by design? Just trying to figure out if there is a logically reason for them to do it. The only thing I can think of is when it is charging they are using all the current the USB port was designed to supply and if a call were to come in it would overload it if it vibrated.

It's perfectly normal; all moto's do that.

Yes it's due to the fact when it's plug in it tells itself that it now has a power source not to conserve power so it uses the most power for the ringer as possible. When its not plugged in it will conserve power making it set to only the ringtone you set it to.

I found a seem edit to stop this. Now it stays on the ring setting I set it at.

So far I love it. I also bought motorola's S705 wireless headset. It works great

On a side note, lets not try to be confrontational. This is a site to be helpful to each other.
