just an update. I have the new rom update from early december ( i believe 2.17 rom update?).
I just put the 8 gb memory card in and it automatically recognizes it at its full capacity, well just about. Shows 7,782.50 MB. Thats close enough

I'm ready to make playlists and add all my audio onto this bad boy. Contrary to believe, my phone recognizes this card and my 512 MB card so its a win win situation.

Once again, I made no changes, just threw the card right in, went to system settings, checked storage card and it automatically reads the whole thing. This is the same size it shows when I hooked the card to my laptop directly.

I have a list of programs I use which I will keep installed on my phone in case I have to take memory card out. I was planning to install everything on card including my programs such as HTC x button, HTC home plug in and even windows live search but I would be afraid to use phone without card, not sure how things would change and not ready to test it out.

i got my card off ebay from dztech, paid like 84 dollars shipped. Took almost 2 weeks, which I made a minor complaint about but it came in working condition and he did communicate with me when I threw him a question.

So yes, a thread made on this forum with positive feedback dealing with Mogul 6800, who would have thought
