ok i hope i'll get an answer and not get told off by many lol but i did search and got no answers and i just wanna know:
i have 1.1.1 unlocked with IPSF and i want to go to 1.1.2 now i no it says to update on itunes but not restrore it wont work but the update is 1.1.3. Can i still update if i shift + update and use the file download in applewiki the 1.1.2 firmware?

how do i know if i am IPSF? or what is IPSF for that matter.

If when upgrading from 1.0.2 to 1.1.1, or from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 you only had to jailbreak/activate and you could use another sim -- you are IPSF; if however you had to run anySim to get another sim working -- you didn't have IPSF installed.

You have to buy IPSF. You'd know if you had used it. If you bought your phone unlocked on ebay for example it was definitely not IPSF.
