I've got a new ic602, and would LOVE to be able to copy my contacts from my i830.
Is there such a way? I've got MPT4, and iDEN phonebook manager.
I don't know if these two programs are all I need, but I know I need help.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me out.

matty, did you ever figure out the problem with your 602. I just got one and cannot find the driver anywhere on the web to make it work. My comp. won't read the phone and the iden phbk manager or media downloader won't work. if you found a way to make it work I would love to know.

I am having the same issues here also. Is there anyone who might lend a helping hand? Do we need a driver install, software? I have the usb cable, but can't seem to do anything after connecting the phone b/c the pc will not recognize. My husband & I have searched to the point of being frustrated.

Any assistance is much appreciated!

Sorry but there is no driver for the ic602. I have spoken to the head programmer at motorola and because the phone is so new (6 months) there is no driver or software for the phone yet. I asked why there was a data cable if there was no driver and he said it was generic cable for a bunch of phones. Hope this helps. Trust me, I'm just as fustrated as you.

Try this place http://idenphones.motorola.com/iden...istallation.jsp
Download the driver. Look around the links and download the IDEN software. Media download manager doesn't seem to work, but the IDEN Phonebook Manager does. Motorola Phone Tools 4 also works, you have to manually select the 325i. At least it worked for me. Hope this helps.

Hello all, I am a newbe to this forum so bear with me a bit.
I have the ic602 and Sprint will not provide any software; it is Motorola's problem. Any 3rd party software is your responsibility they say... if it breaks or locks up, your're on your own! Nice CS from Sprint/PCS. They don't like to talk to me anymore... Something about comsumer protection I said?

I talked to BVRP, the software developers for Motorola and anything from them will be a long way away due to the "hybrid" issue. The horse is out of the barn and running away never to be seen again!!!!
There is a later USB driver, 3.5.0, on their developer website, but you must register to get it.
I could try your suggestions to see if anything works, but I doubt it.
Thanks you all for your time and suggestions.
