StealthSim and TurboSim Confusion

Hey Guys
Two questions...I was researching these products and Im little confused as there are people stating that if new firmware is released TurboSim can be reprogrammed. In other words does it mean that turbosim can be reprogrammed without buying a new chip.

Stealthsim canot support this and will only work for the recent firmware version. A little clarification on this issue will be greatly apprecatiated

2nd question: Does anyone know of someone who unlocks using stealthsim/turbosim depending on which is a better option.

These questions are related to Iphone 1.1.2 OTB.

never heard of reprogramming it... all I know that is in order for them to work, the firmware has to be jailbroken
btw, Im using a stealthsim with a 1.1.2 otb with the new bootloader

Well I have a Stealthsim in my 1.1.2 OTB iPhone and it's working like a charm on T-Mobile.

I was unable to find any place online to purchase the Turbosim otherwise I would have purchased that.

But the Stealthsim works fine for me. And I would think unless they actively tried to block these hardware modifications, both would work the same.

Check out this site...it was through the wiki... it states only turbo sims as being reprogrammable.
