Best AT&T smartphone without data plan?

Need real world experienced help!

My 3 year old Razr has finally crapped out (surprised it made it that far).
I am with AT&T and currently carry my phone and an HP iPaq PDA for all my scheduling needs. I am looking for the best option in a smart phone that might combine the two.
I have narrowed it down to 3 phones: AT&T Tilt, Blackberry Curve 8310 & Palm Treo 750 (iphone is out because not voice dialing). I do not plan on getting a data plan as can’t really afford the extra $30 a month. I basically make calls, text & MMS (under 200 a month) and take the occasional picture. I use my PDA primarily to keep track of appointments and use the notes (syncing with Outlook), only rarely do I delve into quicken mobile, excel, etc.
I’m not hard on phones but do usually just slip them in my pants pocket.
Any suggestions based on real world use?

Thanks for your help!

It's an extra 20 dollars a month for internet. Att Tilt is the best as your probably used to the windows mobile. I think you can get the treo 750 cheaper than the tilt now but it doesn't have as many features such as the gps.

I was told by the AT&T rep that the data package on the iphone was $20, but for the the others it was $29. I will have to look into it further. Also, will the GPS feature truely work without a data plan? I know there are other threads on this though so I may check those for the answer. Thanks for the reply.

Any other opinions from people who have used the devices first hand?

if you get a regular phone, data is 15 bucks. smartphone, like the tilt, is 30 bucks.

If you like windows mobile, I would suggest the Moto Q9. I believe cingy/at&t offers the gsm version of that now. I also used the original Blackjack but found it to be a little sluggish. I dont know about the Blackjack II. Since I do a lot of email, I can't imagine any smartphone or pda phone that would be of much use without a data plan. Many smartphones do have excellent java support and will run lots of games. I have an NES emulator for windows mobile that is cool.

Tilt. Duh. Lol. I recently switched from the Iphone to the Tilt and is VERY happy that I done so. With the Tilt, you are basically in control of your phone. There are TONS of Windows Mobile software out there to tweak your Tilt like you want it. GPS - Awesome on the Tilt; 3g - Awesome on the Tilt; Speakphone - Awesome on the Tilt; should I continue? LoL.

Word of advice: When you get the Tilt, it may be slow because of all the programs ATT puts on it, but delete them, and you'll have a much faster Tilt. One of my friends took there Tilt back b/c they said it was too slow, WELL, they didn't delete the unnecessary crap ATT put on it...he's now back using his Blackjack...

I'd look into the BlackJack II(I had the first)

Cheap phone(I had BlackJack, but its the same price as the 2nd one) with good features, nice keypad.

I have an iPhone now, but the BlackJack was a nice phone.

Of the 3 you listed, I'd take Palm Treo(personally I'd look wait for the Centro to hit AT&T, which should be soon)....I'm not a big BlackBerry fan, WM is decent, but I'll take Palm OS and OS X Mobile over the other(but I seeing how you need voice dialing, OS X is out)
