Huh?? you said thirty two gigabytes?

Thats the maximum SD 2.0 is compatible with, and as the Touch is SD 2.0, its fair game. Whenever it comes out that is, i think we're up to 8GB so far, or 16GB.

Yup, theoretical maximum with 8GB as the largest working at the moment.

yup 8GB at the moment but 32GB if u still have the phone by then

Where does one find this 4 gig shipped? lol

Posted by: alpha_omega

I got mine from here http://shop.kingston.com/PartsInfo....partno=SDC4/4GB but that was when they had a special sale. You could still get it for $33 shipped and I believe you can get the one with 2 adapters for $1 more.

16gb is supposed to be out in June!

Is it safe to presume that the phone can handle class 2, 4 and 6 cards?? Just curious.

I believe so, I'm using a class 4 card and it works great

It does, but it won't be much faster with the higher classes since it's limited by the internal read/write speeds of the card slot.

So is there any point to getting a class 4 or 6 card with this device? Why pay more for the same performance right? I looked around here and google'd it but found no answer. Thanks.

IOO.....anyone know the max speed of the card slot in the CDMA touch (vogue)??

I noticed that my class 4 is slightly faster than my class 2 (about 14 seconds for writing 70MB of music). The speed difference is useful if you use a card reader to your computer or for a digital camera. Otherwise if you're keeping it in your phone, there isn't a huge difference if any at all once you go higher than class 4.

Just checked eBay, so far no 16gb micro sdhc, but there are 8gb micro sdhc for about $70CAD shipped. I just got my Touch today, and 512mb just isn't going to cut it
