Blackberry thumbwheel vs. trackball

I've been looking at getting a Blackberry, either Curve or 8700c. I thought I would prefer the thumbwheel of the 8700c over the trackball on the curve. If you've used both, what are your thoughts/preference?

I prefer the curve's trackball, i like the ability to scroll up down left and right.
