I've been having trouble receiving calls for the past 4 days, intermittant. People say it either goes straight to VM or will ring a few times and go to VM but doesn't ring on my end. Tonight someone called me and it went straight to VM, they left a message but i didn't have message waiting indicator on the phone. checked the VM and their was a message from an hour ago? Seems like a network issue and not the phone but I'm not sure. I have the latest software according to SEUS. I haven't had a chance to call ATT because I don't have another phone to call from. Anyone else had this problem with K790a? I will post in ATT forum also. Thanks.

If that K790a is not AT&T branded, they probably won't be of much help. I thought that the K790a was at one time an AT&T phone, but I could be wrong. I would give it a shot and try calling them, see if there are any network issues in your area.

You are correct Heavy Fluid. I spent 45 minutes in online chat with ATT rep and at the end she said i need to try my sim in a ATT phone and see if I still have the same issue. So, I either have to buy a cheap one or go into the local ATT store and have them check the sim, i guess. None of my friends have ATT. I think its a network issue, myself. Damn frustrating. The problem seems worse now too, having trouble making calls as well and I didn't have that problem before trouble shooting with ATT. One out of 3 are connecting.

got my sim card swapped last week and it didn't fix it. Still having terrible time receiving calls and calling out. It works at random. When I had the phone hooked up to pc with MyPhone Explorer, the monitor function states my signal was only at 32% (-61db) but the phone itself says 4-5 bars?? wtf? Maybe it's an RF issue with the phone? Not sure.

I guess I have to shell out some cash for an ATT branded phone and see if I still have the same issue. I will try calling SE support and see if they can do anything. Anyone have any further insight? Thanks

I think it might be the actual phone. bodeh6 is in the Detroit area, and has the same phone, as do I, and I have used my phone in Detroit and had no problems at all.
