Ok before I make it up the road to the AT&T store in the next town. I just got this phone today and I cannot get the batter door on at all. I had candy bar phones and even a slider before but this one is hard to get on and I don't want to break it in half.
Any ideas?

It's a tough door,,, just gotta slide it on. It seems like it's gonna bend or something, but it won't. I have two of these (pink & gray) and I was rough as all hell taking that damned cover on and off numerous times.

Both I and my friend had the same issue. I opened the phone so your fingers are resting on the number pad, and your thumbs are on the battery door, ready for a fight.... you put the pressure on the door right before the end of the door, begining of the phone (past the 'n' on Sony Ericsson). Press in a little and try to slide it out....
Another way is to use your nails to seperate the door from the phone, then open using the above technique... I've opened several, and it usually requires so much force that you think you're going to break the phone....
Hope that helps...

Well I took it to the AT&T store, the door is defective. We called to try to exchange it out but it was a long shot. It is new in the box, but warranty exchange wouldn't do it and premier wouldn't do it. So I have contacted the seller to see about getting it exchanged out. I even call Sony Ericsson and all they have it grey, white and black.

It's the hardest battery door ever. You have to dig your fingernails into the part where the back of the phone and the battery door separate, and then push down and it will slide off.

Well the seller is going to exchage it out and check to make sure the door is easy to get on. That was my problem, it wouldn't go on..

That stupid curve on the bottom sure does make it a hassle.
