I need to upgrade the Radio on my wife's V3r as it or the phone is crap (phone does this weired very loud static sound at the beginning of almost every call and sometimes throughout the call). I have the software to flash my old I960, can that (IDEN I think) software be used for this phone? I keep reading monsters pack, but have trouble finding clear info in searches on doing it so just info on what anyone knows is the best radio/firmware to upgrade too for Cingular (AT&T). What other Razr models firmware would work with the V3R? I find a lot of info on other model razrs, but few on that one.

there is no radio firmware on a v3r. There is a At&T MP at either www.motox.info or www.modmymoto.com but you need to register for modmymoto.

Monster pack (MP) is made up of flex, flash and language pack.

Flex contains all the registry files (seems0 for the phone. Flash contains the software that controls the phone.

There are no other models that work on the phone as motorola phones models are not interchangeable.

You cannot use iden software. You would need either Flashback up 3 or Rsdlite v 3.0 and higher to flash your phone. Both softwae are consider warez and you need to google for it.

no problem
