I've been searching around a lot, here and elsewhere, as well as speaking with ATT directly but have yet to find the information I need.

I have an E61i and would like to configure the built-in email client to work with my gmail account but have had no luck with this procedure. The only outcomes I have been able to get are one asking me to choose an access point (MEdia Net), which I do, only to be continuously prompted to choose again and again without any connection made. The other outcome is just a gerneral server timeout error, which has only occurred once.

I don't think that the settings are being configured correctly through the wizard, and wondered if anyone here had some insight into what the correct settings would be.

Any help is appreciated. For now, all I can do is use the mobile gmail app from google, but it lacks the richer feature set that the built in client contains.

I think you can download device settings from Nokia, similar to Sony Ericsson's, here...
