I would go for the iphone since you cant use the htc tytn's 3g on tmobile anyway, plus the iphone is like literally half as thick as the tilt.

I've used both heavily. Are you looking for more functionality or a device to replace your iPod? Functionality wise, the TyTN II is the winner hands down, but WM6 is pretty clunky for an operating system. On the other hand, if you pick up the iPhone, the UI is awesome because it isn't a maze of functionality. It all just depends on how you're going to use it.

From your other requirements, the scales are tilted towards the TyTN II for having a hardware keyboard and better email support.

im looking for email support, web browsing and im not really going to replace ipod just would be nice to play music.

is there exchange support on the iphone?

edit:
quality like phone speaker, reception, and call quality

yes, there's exchange support for the iPhone. Or.. is going to be. Uh.. not sure anymore.

I have both phone, sorry, had. I let go of the iPhone.... browsing on the iPhone is the best mobile browsing could get... for now. EMail on the iPhone isn't bad, but it's not BBConnect...
Blackberry Connect is the only technology that can delivery my email right without having me say the word **** every 2 seconds. BBConnect is only available on WMDevices, some Nokia devices, and Blackberry devices.

the Kaiser is more of a work machine, as where the iPhone is a bit of both (thanks to iPod features and whatnot, and hacked up games... SDK is due soon!)

Phone speaker and reception are not that great on the iPhone.

The iPhone DOES NOT support Microsoft Exchange.

I would go for the Tilt but there is a problem with video rendering because of the lack of ATI video driver.
