Purple or white S500i ?

I need a decent backup phone now that I've sold my N82. The price is real looow on a S500i right now. Why do I like the purple one? Almost every phone I've had is black. Purple looks interesting. As does the white/copper.

Is it gay (not that there's anything wrong with that) for a guy to have a purple phone?

Having a colorful phone does not make you gay. You can have whatever color you want, as long as YOU like it. It really does not matter what others think, does it?

No of course not. I was jesting. I was more interested in opinions regarding the purple (or copper) color.

The purple is cool, I love the white, and I have the black. I prefer the black, but I would definitely get the white. Not sure on the copper. I like white because so many phones are black or silver, and you might wonder why I got the black, well, I got a pretty good deal on it from a fellow HoFo'er.

I think the white and copper ones are the same phone. There's just copper accents on the sides.

Really torn. I just re-signed up for another 2 years on AT&T and while I can pick up an AT&T branded Blackjack II for $99, I can get a S500i for $223 from phonesource-usa (though I hear they sometimes send out TIM branded S500is). Hmm...
