NE2 Time...HELP!

Ok, so I've had my E815 for over 2 years now...and I love it. But it's starting to randomly re-boot and lose it's signal for some odd reason. So I guess it's time to cash in my NE2.

I've always had a flip phone, and I like them...but I'm willing to try a slider if this Venus is all it's cracked up to be.

I've been looking at the LG vx-8700 for a while, and I like the cut of it's jib...but I'm not 100% sold on it. I was thinking about the Razr2, but I hear it's not all the great, and I really disliked the first Razr. I had considered the Krazr...but meh. And the Venus has my eye, but again...I hear negative things about the touch screen.

So I guess I'm just looking for some opinions on how those phones stack up and maybe some options I'm not seeing. I want something that's quick, easy to navigate, decent camera, small enough to fit in my pocket comfortably (the one thing I'm not keen on about the E815), good reception/call quality, nice display. I'm not really keen on the whole web browsing/email aspect of cell phones...so it's not a big factor for me. Just throw out some pros/cons of these phones I guess.

Just how distracting is that pleather patch on the back of the Venus?
