Is anyone using any third party apps or such to improve the today screen?

I guess I'm not sure what exactly I'm missing on my today screen, I'd just like to have more information without scrolling. I'm really just looking for something different than what comes with the phone.

yea Facade is cool but seems too crowded.

What I do, is make my own homescreen with a spacer that is 240px tall... so the mainpage is blank. Then I add everything that I want after the spacer.

What this does is effectively give you 2 pages. The first, default one, is blank so you can use custom wallpapers.

Pressing down will "pull up" the other plugins you want (time, date, SMS count, signal, etc).

The cool thing is that after a few seconds it will time out and default back to the main blank page... kinda like a screen saver. I made 2 identical themes, one with black text and one with White. I did this so you could quickly swap depending on whether your picture was bright or dark.

I have them if anyone is interested (I actually posted them on HoFo a few times if you search).

I used this...worked great. Only problem I had is that I had to edit the xml with notepad and force it to 320x240.
