Need replacement for aging SLVR L7

I've been the proud owner of a SLVR L7 for about two years now, and overall I've really liked the phone. I'm looking for a replacement that will give me the things that I DO like about the L7, while fixing the things that I don't like. So, in no particular order, here are my list of do's and don'ts:

* I love the slim candybar feel. I've looked at a few of the new slider phones, but they're all a bit too thick. So almost definitely a candybar, preferably as thin or thinner than the L7

* Usable keypad. The L7 keypad is horrible, but it's not too bad once you get used to it. It's at least usable. I'd prefer a phone with a better keypad, but just as good is ok.

* Camera. The L7's camera SUCKS. It's probably the WORST phone camera I've EVER seen. I can count on one hand the number of recognizable photos I've taken with that thing. A good camera is a MUST.

* Speed. I don't know how best to describe this, but the L7 is just SLOW. When I'm texting I regularly get 5-15 letters ahead of the phone. I finish typing, and the phone is still trying to spit out letters. And don't even get me started on how long it takes to start or end gmail or opera mini.

* Price. At the time that I got my SLVR it was about $150 US with a 2 year contract from Cingular. I'd like to stay close to that range. Definitely nothing above $200 (after contract). I have considered buying a factory unlocked phone, and since I know those are pricey, as long as the phone meets the other criteria I'd still like to hear about it.

Thanks to anyone and everyone for any help.
