How do I get ringtones/apps on my phone?

I have both the iDEN and Webjal loader; and they can connect to my phone fine; I'm able to get wallpapers onto my phone no problem; but any time I try and transfer a ringtone, mp3 or wav, doesn't matter, it "has an error loading the file" same goes for any of the .jad apps at:

http://www.mobits.com/jad/

And the .jar apps won't even show as loadable on my phone.

My phone is a Motorola i670

Can anyone provide some insight to my issues?
