Hi,

I have a Motorola RIZR Z3 that I bought (European, Unlocked), and am using in North America. Dealer I bought it from gave me a little adapter so it has a North American Plug on the end.

Here's the details on the charger (RIZR Z3):
Model:5100
Input: 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz, 0.2A
Output: 5.0V --- 550 mA

I have and old RAZR V3C North American charger kicking around with the following specs:
Model FMP5202A
Input: 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz, 0.15A
Output: 5V --- 850 mA

1. Can I use the RAZR charger with my RIZR if I need to?
2. Can you explain why - and what are the "important" numbers to watch? I'd like to learn.
3. I'm guessing that on my RIZR charger that since it says Input 100-240 on both that if you went to Europe, it would just "take" the power it's given and give the proper charge to the phone.

Thanks in advance for the advice.
