Hi All,

Here is my question.

I have the Samsung WEP200 BT earpiece and the AT&T Tilt. On my HP iPAQ HW6945, i was able to hear all the little sounds through the WEP200 (including, and most importantly, my iGuidance navigation.)

On my Tilt, the phone doesn't play those sounds (or navigation) through the earpiece.

Is there a way to update /rollback the BT stack on the phone to get these sounds playing through the earpiece again?

Thanks!

from what i read b4, HP, like nokia, when you connect to BT
every sound will go into bt
but as much as i know, htc phone does not do that
so no ur phone is acting fine an there's nothing wrong with that

but there is registry hack to change that
or try this

I own 5 nokias and all the way back to the 6310i will transmit every stroke over bt... and its not a2dp.
My old nextel i875 also did the same thing. No other phone i own transmits over bt unless its a2dp..

where's the registry hack? I wold prefer not to install any program with mixed reviews as that link had.

registry hack is EXACTLY what that program does
without actually changing it

as for the reviews
if you mean the sound quality
then too bad you have to get a2dp BT headset
coz a2dp not only means stereo sound
ALSO means much better sound quality
if u want to listen to music or watch movie with regular BT headset
then sound quality would SUX, period
i don't even bother, i use it only when i'm on navigation coz the volume is too low i hear better from headset.

or this other program that does that same thing
http://www.pdatopsoft.com/PocketPC/...th-Audio-Router

but back to the same problem,
bottom line is,
BT headset without a2dp wouldn't sound good no matter how you connect it

its not the sound quality im talking about. It just under BT explorer it shoulds HQ and LQ.

My HQ over my M ht820's works fine. I am looking for the regular noises that isn't covered by the BT stack the tilt has. I couldn't care less about the quality of them, I just would much rather hear them over BT then out of the phones speaker.

I tried BT audio router - had no luck with it. Also had no luck with BT audio 1.0

Any other suggestions on how to get all sounds, mainly mp3 music through a regular BT ear piece? I have a T-Mobile DASH with WM 6.

I haven't tried it, but there is a free cab that supposedly directs all audio to bluetooth. People have used this to listen to music through their mono earpieces, but it might solve your issue too. No harm in trying, right? Just uninstall if it does work. This site is reliable--no junk or crashware.
