The reason HTC has not released it with the tytn because it comes standard in the Tytn II. Cooked roms will not cause the phone to fry if installed properly like any modding there is a risk that the phone maybe damaged. But the Tytn most of the flashing bugs have been fixed and there is a small risk involved if you have not done your homework prior to flashing. No you do not need to unlock if you want to upgrade. Rogers has released an upgrade you can find it as a sticky in the Rogers forum but here the link any ways. http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1225532 |

Yes, it does suppport 4 gb. WM6 is not approved for the tytn thus your warranty will be considered void unless you have upgraded through a recognized provider such as HTC, since HTC will not official release it for older phones. most people are doing because newer firmware improves the speed and functions of most of the phone. Again upgrading is a personal preferebce not a must for phone users. |
