unlocking a Vodafone w910i for U.S. use?

Im in some desperate need of guidance. Im thinking about importing a vodafone branded W910i to the U.S. and I need to figure out how to revert it back to factory settings so I can use it on At&t? Does anyone know how this could be done? Is it possible? Could I still use EDGE on U.S. networks?
