Hi everyone!
I remember seeing similar post here, but can't find it right now.
We have 2 iPhones, but only 1 MacBook. Is there a way we can have 2 separate itunes libraries? I want to be able to sync my iphone and not to have my wife's info on it.
Thank you for suggestions.

Someone will probably have a better answer, but here's my stab at it:

1. Remap your iTunes folder to the Shared directory.
2. Use fast user switching to have a user for you, and a diff. user for your wife. Then the data (cal, address book, etc) would be different.

Curious to hear how others would do this...

install vmware and use the virtual machine to identify with your wife's phone . well that would be my windows suggestion.

I have the same issue and here is what I did
1)Open system preference and click user accounts
2)Click the "+" on the bottom left hand corner and make a seperate user account for your wife.

I did this and it works great. Sync 2 iPhones with different music, pics etc on one Mac. This can also be done on any apple computer. If you want to share music and pics let me know and I'll help you get to that.

Post #4 is the way I do it also. We share the iTunes library, but not user data.

HTH.

Just use playlists; one for you and one for the wife.
