well currently i am on verizon. Being only 14, i would want it prepaid. I currently have a blackberry pearl. My mom would put in 30 bucks a month, currently what she is paying for my line. And then i would put in another 30 that i pay myself for my data plan now towards it.

So how much would i be looking to be paying a month?

wow, l wish I could had things like an iphone when I was 14.

don't need those comments. I actually work for my money, so i get nice stuff.

Cheapest plan is $60/month, which includes data, 450 anytime minutes, and 5000 night and weekend minutes. Does not include taxes or other fees which vary by state.

I was 14 in 1979. I rocked the telephone in the hall with the very long cord (for privacy).

(no offense to the thread starter)

i believe $60 (+taxes and fees) is the cheapest plan. that includes unlimited data and 200 txts.

LOL i have a job

That 450 w/ 5000 N/W is a 2 year contract plan, not prepaid as the OP wants.

http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-ph...equestid=239022 is the proper plan set.

Quit second guessing the kid and answer his question. This forum is not for bashing outside activity or how "someone" makes money no matter what age. Its about asking questions and receiving answers. He wants an iPhone. Help him join the crowd.

I say more power to him. I didn't work at all when I was 14. I just goofed off and waited for the Empire Strikes Back to finally come out.

there are a couple different plans and prices for the pick you plan with att....since ur younger you'll easily fail the credit check to use as prepaid.....u will be lookin at just about the same money depending on the amount of minutes u need

I'm pretty sure it is illegal in my state to have a job when you are 14. Why would you even want a job that young?

It was a compliment.

I will offer this advice. I have the cheapest plan ($60/mo), but I was surprised to know AT&T makes you pay a month up front. So be prepared for a large 1st bill with activation fee, last prorated month, and the next upcoming month.

Yes, I found the month ahead feature to be kinda stupid also. My first bill was close to $150. Kinda of annoying but nothing you can do. If you can afford it, then I say do it. But, to be honest the plans are kinda steep for the iPhone once you start increasing your anytime minutes. I am currently on the 900 anytime with unlimited texting. My bill runs about $100 a month.
