Loud Vibrating Motor?

Hello Everyone!

So this past weekend, I finally had the time to take my phone in to an Apple store because it was just completely freaking out (emails not auto-checking, very low battery life, etc.). So without even batting an eye, the tech replaced my phone with one of those in the white boxes. He assured me that it was 'brand new'.

Suffice it to say, the phone worked a LOT better than the previous one, except for one thing... I could actually hear the vibrate motor running than feel it. I was always able to slightly hear the motor vibrating when someone called, but on the replacement it sounds like it's sitting on a table and vibrating. I took the phone back the same day, and they kept telling me that it was 'normal', even though they compared it to another phone that was a lot quieter. So... I sent it in to Apple after calling them up, and of course it came back un-repaired since 'there was no problem', love the mini-box though.

So my question to you guys is, do any of you have anything similar happen? Should I try to get the phone serviced/replaced? I'm mostly in quiet environments and if my phone is on vibrate, I'd like to be able to feel it and not hear it. Go figure..

Mine isn't loud at all but I have a friend with a Blackjack that vibrates almost as loudly as it rings.
