How to listen to music with my bluetooth headset.

When im streaming music online to my touch the music will only come over the speaker on the phone itself and not on the bluetooth headset. It works fine with the wired headphones that came with the touch. Can it be done with just a normal bluetooth headset and not just with bluetooth headphones?

Streaming audio via bluetooth requires that the headset support Wireless Stereo (A2DP). If your headset is mono, only one earpiece, it does not support A2DP.

Also, when you pair the headset, if it supports A2DP, there will be an option for Wireless Stereo. You must check this option to have the device stream audio to the headset.

While there are hacks that supposedly allow streaming of audio to mono headsets, I have never tried them and as such cannot comment on there effectiveness.

Ok makes sense i thought it might be an option as i was able to use it to listen to music on my old KRZR. When i select bluetooth devices it only has hands free option to select no wireless stero so you must be right. Thanks for your input.
