K850i reset (Games folder crashing)

Hi folks,
My K850i is screwed. I am getting "Operation failed" error whenever I select Menu > Entertainment > Games. Same error also when trying to install any Java midlet.
I have tried these actions but the error persists :
1) Reset All
2) Reset Settings
3) update firmware (now it is on 1200-4404 R1CA037 071012)
Is there a way to completely erase/reset the device? The Reset All function is actually not that thorough.
My set was purchased overseas, hence the local distributor is not willing to service it :-(
