So I am like others who suffered the direct 1.1.3 upgrade from the 1.1.1. My locate me feature does not work on Google Maps anymore, nor does the “E” edge symbol show.

If I downgrade to 1.1.1, upgrade to 1.1.2 and use the Dev Team’s 1.1.3 upgrade in the Installer, will I be able to succeed in a fully workable 1.1.3?

I haven't had any problems with the official 1.1.3 JB.

With that said, unless you upgrade to 1.1.3 via iTunes first (not recommended if you're not an AT&T customer or if you need your phone unlocked), it won't matter which jailbreak you use, you won't be able to use the "CurrentLocation" feature on Google Maps

And before someone says it yes, there is a workaround with the LocateMe/Navizon applications, but you have to run it after each reboot.

EDIT: I DO recommend that you downgrade to 1.1.1, upgrade to 1.1.2 and run the official dev team jailbreak. A new version of AppSnap (jailbreakme.com) was released today to make this process SLIGHTLY cleaner/easier.

hey, I am an at&t customer who has 1.1.3, what would be the best tutorial to follow? I used the one on mac rumors, finished but had no service on my phone, anyone? thanks!!
