Verizon V3m - Can't make or receive calls

I bought a Verizon InPulse V3m phone at Walmart, thinking I could use it like a Sprint V3 that I had used before. Once I found out that I can't use Opera Mini on it because of the BREW issue with Verizon, I looked around for alternatives. Once I discovered that I could flash to a different firmware, I was excited.
I was in too much of a hurry when I decided to flash my V3m phone, and didn't consider much about backing up. I backed up my phone book with Motorola Phone Tools, but that's it. I even neglected to back up the pictures that I had on there.
I flashed with the Alltel ALT_V3M_01.1A.00R_PRIkk27390_MONSTER_01 firmware. I was following the Motorola_V3c_Tutorial:_Flashing_to_Alltel_User_Int erface on the wiki. A couple things didn't seem to work, like the internet & making or receiving calls. I figured that this is probably just a step in the process, but I also need to use my phone in the meantime.
I flashed to V3m_01.19.05P from http://www.humpa.com/vzw/. This restored the Verizon look, but I still can't make or receive calls. I have done the *228 option 1 and 2, but it still doesn't work. I can call 611 and get my balance information, but anytime that I try to make a call, I get a message that I need to use a credit card or calling card or something.
One thing I noticed is that when I activate with *228 option 1, the MIN changes to a different number, but the MDN stays as my phone number.
How can I get everything working? Do I have to put in some specific information that I don't have? Do I have to call customer service and get some info? If so, what do I tell them, and what do I need?
Or, am I up a creek without a paddle...?
Please help.

On a hunch, I flashed again with the V3MLA_01.18.00R_VIVO_Brazil_SP_Monster_2006-11-21_JAGla14795 firmware, activate via *228 again, and calls are working. I can call out and receive, so that is good. I'm guessing that the reason why the web doesn't work is missing server settings and stuff, but that can wait a little. I'll mess around with that. At least I can use the phone for talking right now.
I'll post back what fixes the internet.
BTW: The MIN is supposed to be different.

The issues your having is because you didnt chanmge your esn to a different phone before the flashed! your AKey, for NAM 1 was lost and Verizon verifies that, you cant do ****
on your phone push

AKey: will open and Verizon Tech Support will tell you your Key type it in your done!

How can I get tech support to give me that number? Is that just a normal questions someone would ask? I appreciate your help. Everything works except the internet. The only thing I get now when I try to use the web is "cannot resolve hostname", which is further than it got before, but still not complete.

Well, I accidentally put in a bogus AKEY, and then I couldn't make or receive calls. I called tech support and they gave me a new one. I was trying to write it down, and I did for the first one, but it didn't work. Then they gave me another, and I couldn't write it down.
Is there a way to read the AKEY from the phone, so I'll have it for future reference? Thanks.
