Does the touch do "push" email for Windows Live (aka Hotmail)?

I've been using the Windows Live application on the Touch and from what I've been told earlier, it should have been getting automatic email pushes from Hotmail, which it isn't.

Does the HTC Touch do push email for Windows Live? The only way I can see new messages in my inbox is to hit Menu>Send/Receive.
I have made sure Windows Live is running at all times by checking the Task Manager (or whatever it's called on WM6).

yes it does. you have to go in options for your hotmail account then go in to

"sync schedule"
