hi guys- new to at&t. My wife has the a737 and we can't figure out how to delete the contacts that were included with the phone (*now, directory assistance, and a whole bunch of other ones). My new nokia allowed me to delete them as if i had entered them in myself. Any ideas? Thanks

This is how I do it on my Samsungs from AT&T/Cingular. (D807, C417, Blackjack 1 and 2)
Menu > Address Book > Contact List > Scroll to the one you want to delete > View > Options > scroll up or down until you see Delete Entry > Select.
Repeat for each one you want to do.

On some phones you can't delete them. The crappy Samsung SYNC was like that. If there's not an option to delete them, then you're out of luck.

The numbers can be deleted but its not an easy process. It involves accessing the samsung file system and it will void any warranty.
