How exactly do i get Edge to work on my unlocked Iphone?

Hi, Im really new to the Iphone world and I just recieved an unlocked Iphone. I already have the 19.99 tmobile data plan and I want to know how I can get it working on my Iphone. I came across this site: http://jbwebdev.com/blog/want-edge-...-mobile-iphone/

But im not sure if this is what I have to do, can someone give me some insight?

You just need to find your carrier's EDGE settings and input it into the EDGE settings of the iPhone.

At least that's how mine works. Similar to my Fido carrier but I don't use EDGE on mine since it is so expensive.

You can always ask for the 12$ mobile internet plan from Fido. They have unlimited data for the first 4 months. After that time has passed, they might actually have a decent data plan out, and then you can switch to that.

to the OP, just set the gateway address in Settings > General > Network > EDGE
