Question about the next HTC Rom update..

I'm referring to the next ROM that enables GPS and upgrades the connection from Rev 0 to Rev A.

I was wondering:

-Will there be anything done to "improve" performance? By that I mean a slightly quicker response to opening and closing the keyboard, better memory usage etc etc (if there are any hacks/mods that'll do this, let me know).

-Secondly, I was wondering about all the custom programs I've got installed. Will my HTC Home plugin still work? What about MusicID, Google Maps, IM+, Wisbar? Will all those stop working because of compatibility issues?

-Finally, any idea when this update is expected to be released? I've heard talks of a beta version being leaked, but I want an official release.

Thanks for any help. I'm using an HTC Titan on Alltel, if it matters at all.

Although the new 3.16 rom with gps appeared to be outstanding on the other day.. After a few dayz of testing it out I have found it too to preform to be flawed. The main failures I have noticed this product has is the gps only works with google maps and sprint telnav. I have tested and can confirm that google navigator, Nav4all which appears to be a outstanding free navigation software suite and smartmap all won't work with this rom and hardware. The camera software fails to save picture and video to on board memory nor sd card.
This rom also appears to make the htc p4000 aka "mogul" run slower instead of taking advantage of the device's speed capibilites.
Most premium windows mobile software still fails to operate such as cool cam the gps products mentioned above and many more I can't think of at the moment. I also have trouble hearing sound notifications. There is also still no fm radio working on the device although I did not sumthin about fm radio in this new rom. Unfortunately I now feel like erbody else's that has had the opportunity to test the 3.16 htc mogul rom and find it to be virtually useless. I would appreciate being able to test a appropriate replacement for this rom. Oh I forgot to mention the java flaws that are still apparent in the rom.

Well...I have installed the UN-Official ROM update on my mogul and let me tell you how awesome this is....there is no doubt in my mind that this is the Official update that was leaked...Rev. A and GPS work flawlessly....i have not found any problems with this ROM and i believe if you follow the directions and have patience with the upgrade you will be 100 percent satisfied...it does take about 12 minutes to update and seems to get stuck numerous times but it doesn't. I would sugest anyone that has a mogul to upgrade to this ROM... AAA+++++

How does this leaked ROM do for the video performance that soo many complain about? Any improvements? Reduced the choppiness?

i am using a slingbox and with the rev a it is crystal clear....no complaints....i see a lot of peope are complaining about some advanced features not working but the way i look at it is if you want to try to force a phone to be the supercomputer it was never designed to be then maybe you should strap a laptop to your side and carry it...for the average user that wants to look up directions, surf the web and watch a few videos you can't beat this rom update..
