Hi broadbeltre & whiteandnerdy,

Could you please send your phone numbers and network provider name to our support team at: en-support@cellity.com ?? That way we can look up your activation progress for you. We do have some network providers where we are unable to deliver the Activation code SMS to. However a few things you can check yourself is that you are entering your phone number correctly (ie. in International phone number format) and that you are able to receive international SMS (I know of many USA providers where this is unfortunately an 'Extra' feature).

Updated news for Canadian residents not receiving the Activation/Download SMS for cellity freeSMS:

We have just found a new SMS provider route that can successfully deliver the Activation and Invite SMS's to our Canadian users. Unfortunately to set this up properly in our backend it may take up to a week (next Friday at the latest). Therefore please wait until then before trying again. If we manage to implement it earlier I will let you all know here

This should now be implemented!! Please let me know if you do not receive your Download/Activation SMS.

Cellity Free SMS works great for me. I have sent text messages to Central America from the US. The only downside I see is that I have to input the recipient phone number every time I want to send a message. It would be nice to be able to pull the number from my address book. Other than that the service is good for the messages I send abroad (minimal).

For your information our new client cellity Communicator is able to import your contact list from your phone's contacts on phones that support it. It contains a much improved contacts address book which you can even backup to our server for free! as well as many more features than just the freeSMS.
