iPhone is Showing a DOS screen?!?

Its weird, the phone just starts up and shows the Yellow Triangle, then the screen turns blue and a long DOS screen shows before it restarts itself again. This happened when I downgraded to 1.0.2. Please any help would be appreciated as I need my phone for work purposes

I assume you were trying to upgrade to 1.1.2. This happened to me. Hold down the home button and sleep button for 15sec (only way you can for sure shut down the phone) when you are sure its off keep holding down the home button and connect the iphone to the dock. use iTunes 7.6 to restore to 1.1.1. Then proceed to jailbreak, if you are upgrading to 1.1.2 DO NOT downgrade to 1.0.2 there is no point to this step.

What version of phone do you have? Was it OTB 1.1.2 or 1.1.1 or 1.0.2??

I hope this gets you on your way to fixing.

Its much easier to put into DFU mode Drakkhens way. (connect to computer, close itunes, hold both buttons when u hear the USB disconnect button let go of the sleep/wake. when you hear the USB connect sound again let go of the home button

I tried both ways, the same thing continues to happen. If I have the phone connected to the computer, the iPhone will repeatedly shut itself on and off with the black screen with white text

Thanks for the help guys, I ended up fixing it. For some odd reason it didnt want to restore itself on XP. But when I used the MacBook it went well from there. Now I'm running 1.1.1 again
