Dopod C500 on T-Mobile US

Hi Everyone, I have a customer who is trying to configure a C500 so that it will work on the T-Mobile Network. He brought the form from Sigapore. The phone is unlocked and we can make a receive calls on it with the T-Mobile SIM inserted however I am having a devil of a time getting GPRS to work on the T-Mobile network. The phone basically refuses to use the internet2.voicestream.com settings and the SIM is provisioned correctly with internet 2. For sanity I even tried setting up internet3. Another weird thing is that this version of windows mobile 6 only shows Asia pacific countries. Has anyone else encountered this? I have configured about 10 different types of international smart phones over the past four years but this one has me really stumped.
